Kobbly's Canvas

Kobbly is your typical kid - he loves to draw! He has one problem though: he can’t find any paper to draw on. Then he notices a how big and white the walls are in his room. And there, on the floor, lies a big red crayon!

Wrapped in his enthusiasm, he begins filling this “canvas” with an abundance of beautiful color - and then his mom walks in. What happens next changes Kobbly’s life forever.

This picture book was created not to encourage drawing on the walls, but to encourage kids to explore their imaginations and creativity. How will Kobbly’s mother react when she discovers Kobbly’s “art?” How would any parent react? Hopefully as my own mother did when this scenario took place at our house many years ago; she took me by the hand and gave me a gift I can never repay: she gave me a career in art.
